BH Cosmetics 10 Blush Palette

If you are running out of ideas for a Christmas present, or your a Make-up artist, a beginner in Make-up or just love it in general. Then this is a brilliant thing to buy. My Mum got me this last year for Christmas and I have loved it ever since!

You get 10 decent sized blushes for no more than £20, which works out at about £2 a blush.. which is crazy! I don't think you can buy BH Cosmetics in the UK, I got mine of Amazon. However, a lot of brands do things that are similar to this.

They are brilliantly pigmented, so you do have to be careful when you apply them, you will have to go in with a light hand as I found out.
There are colours for every season and skin tone, plus it isn't too bulky so you would be able to travel with it and not take anything else for your cheeks as it also comes with a bronzer.

Its something I have got a lot of use out of. Have tried it, what do you think of it?..

Urban Decay -v- MUA

The Urban Decay Naked Palette (original) is such a popular product, and honestly is one of my favourite eyeshadow palettes. It can be bought from a lot of different places, I got mine from Debenhams for £37.00 and I have got my money's worth out of it..

However, if you have wanted this palette, but couldn't afford it or didn't want to splurg the money on it then you should try out the MUA Palette called Undressed. It is pretty much identical to the Naked Palette, except it costs £4.00! I get my MUA products from Superdrug

Some of the Urban Decay shadows are richer in colour, but the MUA are brilliant doupes! I have had them both for a while and think they are both amazing.

I hope this has helped you out and thankyou for reading, let me know your opinions about these palettes..

(P.s Superdrug is having an offer on MUA at the moment, where if you spend £8 or more you get a free Eyeshadow palette worth £4. Take advantage of this deal, I already have)

My 5 Most Used Brushes | Eyes

A while a go, I did a post on my Top 5 Face Brushes and said I would be doing a post on my Top 5 Eye Brushes, so I have finally got around to doing it.

When it comes to eye brushes, there are three basics you need, a blending brush, eye-shadow brush and a pencil brush.

The first brushes I am going to talk about are shader brushes. One I love to use to start off my eye look is the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush. I use it to apply my neutral coloured shadow, it's really soft and blends colours out lovely! This comes in the Eye Starter Set and I got mine from Superdrug for £20.99.
Other shadow brushes I love are regular shadow brushes, I have shown you two because a lot of different companies do these brushes and they all do the same job. I love the MAC one which I can't find on the website, so I shown you the E.L.F Eyeshadow Brush one because although it has shorter hairs, it is pretty much the same thing, plus it only costs £1.95!

Next are blending brushes, the first one I love I have only just recently got and started to love, it's out of a set I got off eBay 10 Piece Synthetic Set and only cost £8.99! Its really soft and nice to blend with.

The last two brushes are from Morphe Cosmetics, I have done a full review on these brushes and also on there eye-shadows so I will leave that right here if you want to see it.. I absolutely love these brushes, they are amazing quality and really affordable!

I hope this helps you out, if you have any favourite brushes make sure you let me know..

Thankyou for reading,

How I Do My Brows | Review

I have recently changed up a few products when I do my brows, but all products I use are cheap and affordable, and really easy to use.

The first thing I do is comb them through with some kind of spoolie or brow brush, just to get them the way I want them to go.

Then I go in with the E.L.F Eyebrow Kit in medium, I only use the wax and completely fill in my brows. I always stick to the natural shape of my brows and just fill them in.  I love this products, it's probably my favourite brow products, it's quick, easy and very affordable!

Next I go in with the Rimmel Mono Shadow in 033 Dusk, only over the sparse areas, just to slightly fill them in more. I like this shadow because it doesn't have much of a red undertone. I'm not sure if they sell these anymore but I really like it.

Then finally I go in with the Rimmel Brow This Way in the Clear shade to set everything in and make sure my brows stay in all day! This does make my hairs stick down really well,  even though I don't need it because the E.L.F wax sticks the hairs down this just makes sure they stay down.

I love all these products for my brows, and would recommend for you to try them..

I hope you enjoyed this,

Chelsea

Monthly Favourites | October

I don't really have two many favourites this month but I thought I would share with you anyway..

Rimmel Brow This Way | Clear - sticks my hairs down so well, they don't budge all day and it's really affordable.

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless - super lengthening, it had become my favourite mascara.

Rimmel Apocolips Matte Lip Velvet | Meteoric Matte - lasts a good time, gorgeous colour and I love the fact it's matte!

Nivea Lip Butter | Original - super hydrating, keeps my lips soft for ages.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo | On and On Bronze - brilliant for everyday, so easy to use and acts as a really good base.

E.L.F Glitter Primer | Sheer - tacky base which is great for pigments or loose shadows, really affordable and only need a tiny bit!

I have been trying a lot of Rimmel products this month that's why I have a lot in my favourites, but generally I have been loving everything I have spoken about.

Half Skull, Half Face | Halloween Idea

This is what I am going as for halloween, today was just a practise run. I thought I would share it will you because it's a simple look that is really effective! I am also going to take it down my neck so I look like a skeleton. You could also do half your face the other way, so it's half your full face then half a make-up look. (If that makes sence)

Plus you still get to wear some dramatic eye make-up..

P.s, please excuse my monkey onsie!

Thankyou for reading and I hope this gives you some inspiration,

Benefit Instant Comeback Facial Serium | Review

I only have a sample of this, I got it in one of the Christmas sets the Benefit as doing, I have done a review on that so go check that because it is a really good litte kit. If you don't want to buy the full size then I would recommend buying this kit or getting a sample too try it, you will love it!

This is a thin moisturiser so I didn't think I would like it, my skin is very dry especially in Autumn & Winter so I like thicker moisturisers. However, this has made such a difference on my skin! It's become so soft and moisturised. Also, I love the texture of it, it feels nice and silky. It's not oily, or it doesn't feel it, so it would be good for people who have oily skin as well. I apply it morning and night on a clean face, I do apply my Simple Moisturiser as well because I only have a sample size of it, but once I have ran out I will be buying the full sized bottle because I love it!

This was just a quick review but I think everyone should try this moisturiser.

Thankyou for reading,

Chelsea,

Top 10 Drugstore Favourites

I thought I would share with you some of my affordable favourites, it was hard for me to narrow it down to 10 because I am such a drugstore girl!

1) L'OrĂ©al True Match - £10.99
I can not do a post like this without including this foundation. I have spoke about this so many times because it is my absolute favourite at the moment; well has been since I bought it. It's flawless, good coverage, easy to blend in, good match to my skin.. There isn't anything to complain about, you have to try it if you haven't already.

2) MUA Eyeshadow Palette - £4
I have the one called Undressed, it is exactly the same as the Urban Decay Naked Palette, so if you were wanting that but couldn't afford it I would say get this because it is like the same exact thing. The colours are pigmented and blend really easy.

3) Rimmel Lash Accelerater - £7.99
I have done a seperate review on this so for more detail on it just click here, but it is one of my favourite mascaras!

4) MUA Bronzer - £1
I could not believe it was only £1, it's very much matte, perfect to contour with, I like to apply it with a stippling brush so it's more natural because if you use a heavy hand it could become muddy as it's quite warm toned & pigmented. It is a good cheap bronzer though!

5) Maybelline Colour Tattoo - £4.99
These are a really good base for your shadows or you could put them on your lid and leave it like that. They are nice and smooth to apply, easy to blend out, make your shadows last all day and the collection has a good colour range.

6) E.L.F Eyebrow Kit - £3.95
I have been using the wax out of this too fill my brows in for ages now, and I love the look it gives. It's a brilliant brow product and if you are looking for something new for your brows I would say for you too try this.

7) Maybelline Baby Skin - £7.99
I think everyone and their Mam knows about this product, but I thought I would mention it because it is a really good drugstore primer. Makes your foundation last a long time and is very lightweight.

8) Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick - £7.99
I only have one of these but it is my favourite red lipstick, very pigmented, creamy and last a long time on your lips!

9) MUA Single Pearl Eyeshadow - £1
These are amazing, they are like pigments. I have looks coming up using these but they are so pigmented! I am obsessed with how they look, they are incredable! I am honestly so impressed with these.

10) Maybelline ColourSensational Lipstick - £7.99
I have also done a seperate post on these so if you want more details about these then I will leave the link right here, they are just really creamy and comfortable to wear but also super pigmented.

Morphe Cosmetics Review

I did a birthday haul recently which included these Morphe products and I said on the post that when I tried to order from that website, everything I wanted was sold out. I wanted to make my own palette but pretty much all of the individual shadows were sold out. Then I went onto the made up palettes that they do, and every one of them I wanted was sold out!

I managed to get one of the made palettes, it was the 35C Multicoloured Matte Colour Palette. It had the Browns, Plumbs, and some other shades I wanted to get in there so I decided to get it. These shadows are absolutely stunning! Crazy pigmented, really buttery and easy too apply, I have nothing bad too say about them at all.

Then I got two brushes; most of them were sold out, I got the M330 brush which is like a tapered blending brush, perfect for the crease, and the M431 brush which is a pencil brush. They are so soft and fluffy!

I am so obsessed with them all! I will be ordering from them again and again and again.. once everything is back in stock.
Also, when I just went onto the website they have started to stock LA Girl, so if you are from the UK and want something from the brand you can get it from the website. (I will leave the link here as well)

I hope this helped you, and make sure you let me know what Morphe products you love..

Collective/ Birthday Beauty Haul

So, if you don't follow me on Instagram or Twitter then you wouldn't know it's was my birthday recently, too celebrate that it was only right too buy some new make-up! I was good though and didn't buy too much...

I ordered from a few different sites;
The first one was E.L.F, they don't stock it in stores in the UK so I have to order it from the site, but they do have a UK site which makes it easier.
- Small Stipple Brush
- Concealer Brush
- Glitter Primer in Sheer
- Eyebrow Kit in Medium
- Matte Lip Colour in Tea Rose
Then I ordered from Morphe, I had to get it shipped from abroad because they don't have a UK site. I was disappointed when I tried to order because everything I wanted was sold out, so I only got 3 things:
- Multicolour Matte Palette 35C
- Blending Crease Brush
- Precision Pencil Brush

Then I got the Benefit Fun- Size Flirts Set, which I have done a post on & I will leave that here if you want too see that.

Then I got some products that I needed to replenish because I had ran out;
- Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
- Garnier Moisturiser
- Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser

I didn't actually have time to get anything else, so this is all I bought. I will be doing posts including these products, so make sure you keep an eye out for them.

Thankyou for reading,,

September Favourites

I don't think I have ever done a monthly favourites, but I thought I would do one this month. I don't really have many favourites because when I find something I love then I tend to keep using that instead of trying different things.

My first favourite this month is the Garnier Intensive 7 Day Replenishing Moisturiser, I haven't had this the whole month of September but I still love it! It's so moisturising, it keeps me soft all day, it isn't thick its more runny so I was suprised too see how moisturising it is!
My second favourite is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, the reason I love this is because it can be used for so many things, no matter what i run out of; like cleanser, toner or eye make-up remover, then i can use this in its place and it is just as good! I have done a more in depth review on this so if you want to read that i will heave it right here.
Another favourite of mine this month has to be the E.L.F Eyebrow Kit, I couldn't stop using it since I got a new one. If you like to use a wax on your brows and are looking for a cheap alternative then I would definitely recommend this one! I use the shade Medium and its the perfect colour for me.
The next thing I have to mention because I have mentioned it to many times though out September and August, it's the Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in Velvet Beige, you are probably sick of hearing about it, but I really have been addicted to it for such a long time. Is the perfect Mauvey Pink. My last favourite is this MUA Eye Pigment/shadow in the Shade 29 Pearl. I am doing a post on this because it is £1 and absolutely gorgeous!

My 5 Most Used Brushes | Face

I have decided too do two posts on my favourite brushes, i am started with face brushes. All these brushes are very inexpensive (except one) that's why I chose them, although they are still very good quality! I am a very big lover of make-up brushes, I love everything about them.
The first brush I am going to talk about is the Mac 168 brush. This is the only higher end brush I have included because I dont have a cheep alternative. This is a brilliant blush brush, its also good for contouring; its super soft and is a perfect shape for the cheek. There are many cheep alternatives out there which are just as good. It retails for £27.00 on the Mac Website.
The next one I want too talk about is the E.L.F Small Stipple Brush. I love this brush! It is the perfect brush for cream blush/bronzers. Its a brilliant quality brush for only £3.95. It can be found on the E.l.F Website.
The next two brushes i want too talk about are both from Real techniques. The first one is the Contour Brush, I use this brush for two different things; blending in concealer and applying bronzer or contouring. I think it applys just enough product and blends it out at the same time. Then the Buffing Brush, which i use for foundation, it helps give a good coverage and blends it all in, it really does the work for you! They can be both bought from the same pack called the Core Collection from Superdrug for £20.99.
The last brush I want too talk about is the Joursna Brush. I bought this of Ebay, but i tried to get a link for you guys but I cant find it. It was from Hong Kong, and I believe it was around £3 or £4 which is so cheep because this brush is just as good as the others! It is super soft, makes my foundation look flawless and I love it.. I would recommend this is people can't afford any others and they want to find a good cheep brush, then to try this one!

Covergirl 3 in 1 Foundation | Review

When I first got this foundation I loved it! I bought it a while ago, while I was on holiday because I can't buy it in the UK. It had a good coverage, lasted a really long time, matched me really well. I didn't really have any complaints about it.

However, when I went back to using it recently it wasn't the same, if that makes sense. It goes on perfectly matching my skin, good coverage ect.. But then it oxidises so bad to the point where I am one or two shades darker then my neck and it starts to go patchy and uneven. I have tried it with and without a primer and it does the same thing, I don't know if it's my skin because it has been really dry recently or the product but it doesn't work for me.
If it didn't oxidise I would probably say it's one of my favourite foundations because it's a good coverage.

I love this foundation to start with but then the longer I wear it I start not too love it so much.

E.L.F Matte Lip Colour | Review

I decided to do a review on these because I have been absolutely loving them recently, I have worn them all the time!

They cost £3.95 and is a range of 6 colours, I have 3 of them in the shades Coral; which is a nude shade with a peachy undertone, Tea Rose; which is a muted pink but with a blue untdertone and Rich Red which is more of a cherry shade, it has more of a warm undertone to it.
Although they are Matte lipsticks, they are so buttery and creamy and just glide on your lips!

I am utterly obsessed with Tea Rose at the moment and have worn it everyday since I got it.
For the price you can't really go wrong, I would defiantly reccomend you to go and try them

Until next time,
xoxo

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Can I just start off by saying I have no clue how to pronounce the name of this, but despite that, I love this product! I am a fan of cleansing waters in general and I used to use the L'Oreal one and I do still love that one, but then this is like double the product for around the same price.

(Excuse that it's got bubbles in, I dropped it)

It has multiple uses, it can be part of your cleansing routine, it can be a make-up remover or cleanser.. The way I use it is I wash my face, cleanse it then use this and then go in with toner. I find this makes your face feel really refreshed and clean. It doesn't sting at all if you decide to use it as a eye make up remover, it's really gentle and soothing; and also doesn't dry out your skin like some do, it's quite hydrating.

A little bit goes a really long way, you get 400 ml of product which is a lot as you only need a tiny bit (I always use too much).
It's really cheap, the packaging is pretty and simple, I just love it, it's really become a staple in my skin care routine and would recommend it too everyone  even if you have sensitive skin.

What's In My Bag - Autumn Edition

The bag I have been using recently is from House of Frazer, the brand is called Juno; I'm not sure what the bag is called because I can't find it on the website anymore. I'm not sure if they stock it still, but it's a beautiful maroon/plum shade with black and gold detailing on it. It's the perfect size to fit everything I need in there, and looks absolutely beautiful!

What's inside my bag:
Cat Purse - for money and cards (Newlook)
Owl Notebook - to make lists or little notes (Ebay)
Pink Diary - for reminders and things that need payin ect.. (Ebay)
A Pen - for my diary and notebook
Faux Leather Gloves - Incase my hands get cold (Primark)
Sunglasses - Incase the sun blinds me while I'm out or driving (Phillipines)
Glasses Case - so the glasses won't get scratched (Primark)
Two Nail Files - just Incase
Barclays Pinsentry thing? - I don't use it, I have forgot my code but it is for online banking

Vaseline - my lips always get dry

This is something different for my blog, I hope you liked it xoxo

Real Techniques Brush Review

I have had these brushes for ages now but never actually thought of doing a review about them. If you already have these brushes then it's pointless you reading this because you already know how amazing they are! I use them everyday without fail because they have become a staple in my routine. I have the Core Collection and the Starter Set. They are all sinthetic in these kits, and if your just starting with make up or your looking for a easy & cheap set of brushes, I would defiantly recommend giving these a try.. You will love them. I got mine for £20.99 I believe from Superdrug. They are incredably cheap for how good they are! The bristles are amazingly soft, wash really easy and make your application so much simpler because they are effortless too use.

My all time favourite brushes out of these are the Buffing Brush, which I use for my foundation, (I've spoke more about it in my recent foundation post which I will leave right here) and the Delux Crease Brush. Which can be used for so many different things; applying shadow on the lid, in the crease, blending concealer. Just anything really.

My Foundation Routine

The foundation I have been loving is the L'Oreal True match, I recently done a blog post on this and another L'Oreal Foundation so if you want to read that then just click here. I am totally obsessed with this foundation, I love it so much I literally use it everyday. It creates such a flawless finish to the skin, it covers every little thing on your face if you build it up. The way I apply it is, I apply one full layer then add to the areas that need more coverage and that way it makes my skin look flawless. Mine is in the shade W1 Golden Ivory, the range of colours in this line is incredable, it has so many different colours with so many different undertones, so if you have a more pink or yellow undertone there will be a perfect match for you.
The brush I always use with this is the Real Techniques Buffing Brush, this brush really does the work for you. You just move it around and it creates a perfect finish with you foundation. It blends and buffs it so seamlessly, without disturbing anything you may have already applied. I go in circular motions all over my face to get the best result. It's my favourite foundation brush!

Top 5 Maybelline Products

I have been loving Maybelline recently so it's only right to do a post about 5 of my favourite things, there is obviously more but I have to draw the line somewhere because I could go on forever about them.
(This isn't in any order of which is my total favourite, just listing them)

1.  Colour Sensation Lipsticks. £6.99
I have done a post about them recently if you want to check it out just click here

2. Baby Skin, Instant Pore Eraser - £7.99
This really does reduce the look of my pores, I have been noticing them a lot recently, but when I use this I can barely see them at all which is amazing. It's kind of a silky feeling, but not very heavy you can't feel you have it on.

3. 24hr Colour Tattoo. - £4.99
Obvcourse these are on my list, they are amazing bases for your eyeshadow. They make everything more pigmented and last for ages! They are also gorgeous on their own, there is lovely colours available so you can easy wear them alone.

4. The Colossal Volume Express Mascara. - £7.99
Gives amazing volume, makes your lashes look really black. Really nice mascara, isn't too clumpy or wet so it's easy to apply.

5. Hyper glossy Liquid Liner. - (can't find the price anywhere, sorry)
I have also done a post about this so if you want to read why I love this then just click here

My New Lipstick Love

Its the Maybelline ColorSensational Lipsticks. These lipsticks have been out a while, but I have never actually owned any and I have no clue why. When I first buy a lipstick I always go for a nude shade and a mauvey pink shade, simply because they are the two colours I get the most wear out of so I can really get too know how they wear. So I got the shade 725 Tantalizing Taupe and 630 Velvet Beige.

I love everything about these! From the noise it makes when you put the lid back on too the formula. They are so creamy and pigmented, they just glide onto the lips and don't show all the fine lines and cracks. Good priced (I got mine from Superdrug for £6.99 I think) and they look really elegant.

I personally think these are the best colours in the collection, they are just so beautiful and good for any skin tone.
I just can't believe I haven't had these from the beginning.

Wednesday 13 August 2014

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara

I'm not usually a fan of mascaras that are more wet, but this is amazing. Lenghening mascaras are my favourite type, and this makes your lashes look like spiders legs!

It applys very thin, and can be built up if you wanted too, because it's thin it doesn't go on your lashes clumpy which is the most annoying thing if that happens.
The wand is also small and thin, it doesn't get much of the product onto the wand so it really separates all your lashes and makes them look so long.

It doesn't really make your lashes thick so if you wanted a mascara that was volumizing then this isn't it. Also I do find I have to be careful when applying it, because of the consistency of it it tends to transfer really easily and it ends up on my eyelid.

E.L.F Baked Bronzer Review

I have talked about this for the longest time now, so I thought it would be right if I did a blog post of its own. This has to be my favourite Bronzer through the whole of summer. I can't describe how amazing it is, it gives the best bronzey glow to your skin but without it looking like you have loads of product on your face, if that makes sense. It is technically matte, it has no shimmer in it so it can still be used to contour but somehow it makes you look so healthy, it has something in it to create the amazing glow. I got mine from the E.L.F website, I think it was £3.95 I'm not entirely sure but if I was you, I would defiantly check it out especially if you like a dewy/glowey look!
(It looks kind of orange in this picture but it is not like that in person)

Favourite Lip Combo

I have been wearing this lip combo for about a month straight, literally everyday! I'm totally obsessed with it. It's my perfect 90s matte lip colour. Even though its matte, they are not drying, don't sit in the lines of my lips and last such a long time. I find that they both go on so smooth, I have no trouble when it comes to applying them.
(They are a little bit darker on the lips when they have dried.)

It's the Rimmel Lipliner in Eastend Snob with Calvin Klien Lipstick in First Kiss over the top. It is amazing! They are both similar shades just the lipstick is abit darker, they are kind of a Mauvy Pink shade. The colour really compliments dark hair colours.

I can't stop using it. I have tried using something different but I keep going back to this, I just love it so much.

Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner

I have found my favourite liquid liner! This is probably the easiest thing to use, if you struggle with liner, like I do, then I would recommend you try using this. I got mine in the shade Black, The tip you apply it with is short so you have a lot of control, also it isn't very thick so you can still get a thin line with it. It literally lasts ALL DAY! It doesn't move what so ever. A lot of glossy liners can move around on your face or smudge down where you don't want it, this one doesn't and it also dries really quickly so you don't need to sit around waiting for it. It is the blackest black, you won't need to go over twice, one swipe with it is enough.

All I do is wipe some of the product off onto the side of the tub because it can have too much on the applicator and apply it too my eye and it's as simple as that.

I love this, I would recommend it to everyone, no matter how experienced with liquid liner you will be able to use it!
