L'Oreal Foundation Review

I recently picked up the L'Oreal True Match and the L'Oreal Lumi Magique foundation. Based on reviews I have seen on these two foundations, the True Match is for oily/normal/combinationed skin and the Lumi Magique is for Dry/normal skin. They can be both bought from Superdrug for around £10/£11. Naturally I would go for the Lumi Magique simply because I like my skin to be dewy. However, I have heard nothing but good things about the True Match. So I picked up both, and I absolutely adore them! I tried the True Match first because I wanted to see what the hype what about, I got the shade D1-W1 Golden Ivory. Ive had it before but didn't enjoy it. This is such a good coverage, good colour match and flawless foundation, I now understand why people love it so much, the consistency is very thin and runny so it's easy to blend in, although it is runny it only need 2 layers for full coverage! Its a perfect combination of yellow and pink for my skin, most drugstore foundations are pinky toned on me.  Same for the Lumi Magique, I got the shade R/C/K2 Rose Porcelain. The only difference between these two foundations I would say, is the fact that this one is more Glowey and dewy. Which I love! It's also an amazing coverage, it's slightly thicker but still so easy to blend in. I'm currently using this one because I haven become abit more tanned, I just love it! It is defiantly my favourite foundation. There are a wide colour range to choose from in them as well so you will always match your skin tone. I honestly can't say enought good things about these.. I would defiantly reccomend both!

Updated Skincare Routine

I haven't really changed any of the products I have always used, but just added too them. One brand I swear by when it comes to skincare is Simple. I absolutely love Simple products, the main reason I love them so much is because there is no harsh chemicals or artificial perfumes or colours that will harm your skin. They are brilliant for people who have sensitive skin as there isn't anything in them that will damage your skin. The first thing I do in my routine is taking my eye make up off, I use the Garnier Express 2 in 1 Eye Make-Up Remover. This is a really easy product to use when taking your make up off because you don't need to harshly rub or pull at your eye to get the make up off, just simply place over the eye, slightly and gently rub and it comes off straight away. It doesn't dry your eye area out but doesn't leave that greasy feeling some liquid removers do. The only thing I would change about this is, too make it a bigger bottle. Next, what I do is wash my face. It is so important to wash your face morning and night! People assume their face doest need washing on a morning because all you have done is slept, but your face still gets dirty and if you don't wash it before applying make-up you will be packing the dirt and make-up into your skin and pores. Creating spots and problem areas on your skin. I use the Simple Moisturising Facial Wash, I love this. It doesn't foam up, its really gentle and moisturising. I use this both morning and night, I think its the best facial wash I have used. I will then cleanse my face using the Simple Purifying Cleansing Lotion. Then to take that off I go in with the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, again I love this. Its so gentle and soothing, makes my skin feel clean and soft. After that I will go in with the Simple Soothing Facial Toner, just to make sure everything is off my face and that its as clean as possible. So the Final step is to moisturise, I use the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser and the Nivea Express Hydration Primer, both really thin and light weight but really effective. Makes my skin feel so soft for such a long time. On a morning I only wash my face and moisturise I don't go in with all these steps. I am one of those people who, when find something they like, they stick too it and I have been using these products for such a long time now I would recommend them to everyone! They are all inexpensive products that wont harm your skin and Ii would defiantly say you should give them a try.

DIY Lip Exfoliant

The easiest way I find to make your own lip exfoliant is by using a lip balm you don't really use, I used the Lipstick Queen Chocolate Orange Lip Balm. You can get these from Superdrug and they come in a pack of all different flavours. Use one that is in a jar would be easiest.
So the first thing you do is too scoop the balm out of the jar and put them into a small glass or something like that, then start to add sugar, add as much or little sugar as you wish. I like to add quite a lot of sugar as I find it's more exfoliating. Once you have it how you like it, put it back in the jar and you have your own Lip Exfoliater! It is so easy to do and you have it as you like it.

Philippines Holiday Part 2

I did a post a while ago talking about the places we stayed in on our trip to the Philippines in March 2014. It was going to be split into 2 parts (this being the second.) I can honestly say this was the holiday of a life time. I am very very thank-full for it, it was heaven! I thought instead of writing a lot I would just upload and show you some of the photos and views that we got to see in this beautiful place. So I hope you enjoy this, if you ever get the chance to go I would 100% say you should. We took every single photo, this isn't even half of them but I hope it shows you just how amazing this place is!

Hair Care Routine

So when it comes to my hair, I like to look after it like I do my skin. So I go about looking after it in a similar way, I start off by washing it. I only wash my hair every 3/4 days sometimes a little longer, that way my hair doesn't get greasy, it keeps all it's natural oils and stays shiney. If you wash it too much, it becomes damaged, dry and will go greasy every day. The shampoo and conditioner I'm using at the minute is the TRESemmé Silky Smooth Shampoo & Conditioner. I never really use the same one all the time so I'm always switching them up, this is just the one we have now. A good way to keep your hair soft, smooth and nourished is to deep condition it, I like to use a hair mask while I'm in the shower, the one I have been using is the Argan Oil Hydrating Hair Mask, if you don't already know argon oil is incredable good for your hair so I tend to go for things which include it into them. I only just this once or twice a week at the most. I use it after my Shampoo leave it on for 5-10 minutes then wash it out. Makes my hair feel so much better! Even when I use these I still get split ends so I like to apply serums and oils to the tips of my hair, I love the Pantene Pro-V Split End Serum and the Maroccon Argan Oil, they hydrate and make my hair look silky. I love using products that make my hair shine and look silky because I naturally have frizzy hair, so just before I style my hair I will use the Garnier Fructis Spray on Serum. I love this stuff, it doesn't only make my hair smell amazing, it looks so silky and shiney and healthy. So last but not least, if I ever use heat on my hair I will always use a heat protecter, I can't stress enough how important it is to use this! It stops your hair from becoming damaged from the heat which could lead your hair to snapping and having dry/snapped ends, which is never a good look!

Max Factor 3 in 1 Foundation Review

The actual name to this is Maxfactor Facefinity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation, which is such a mouthful, but I'm going to start off by saying I absolutely love this foundation! It's amazing.. I originally bought it because I was running out of the Covergirl 3 in 1 foundation and I can't find it anywhere to repurchase, so I thought this would be something similar, but no, it's better!
The coverage on this is amazing, it doesn't need building but if you wanted to you defiantly could without it seeming cakey or thick, the colour match is really good. Normally they seem too pink on my skin but this doesn't, it seems to blend into my skin really naturally and doesn't seem like I have a lot on when really I do.
It lasts such a long time, you don't need to apply a primer or anything before hand because it already has it in it, it so easy to work with, it doesn't take a lot of effort to blend in or anything so doesn't take a lot of time. It doesn't move around on my skin, if you have oily skin you may need to powder but I don't have a problem with that. You can tell it has concealer and primer in with it because it looks flawless.
The bottle is glass, and it comes with a pump (which is always a good thing in my eyes!) it doesn't pump out to much of the product either like some pumps do. It has an SPF of 20 so will be good in the heat, but not so much with flash photography, I bought mine at superdrug for £10.99 i think? However, I couldn't be happier with it, I think I have found my number 1 foundation.

If you haven't tried it already, then I would defiantly recommend you too!
