A Cheeky Little Purchase

I told myself I wasn't going to buy this palette because I didn't need it.. However, I couldn't help myself from picking it up. It's so beautiful! I am in love with the colours, they are exactly the type of colours I go for everyday. I recently got the Naked 2 palette but then I saw the 3 and thought the colours were more me also that I would get more use out of this one. Or so I keep telling myself so I can justify why I bought it!

I am simply in love.

From Left to Right: Strange, Dusk, Burntout, Limit, Buzz, Trick, Nooner, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, Darkside and Blackheart.

Swatches: Dust, Burntout, Buzz, Liar, Mugshot and Blackheart

This is my favourite Naked Palette and I would recommend anyone to get it the colours are so gorgeous I have literally worn it everyday since I got it, I don't think it will ever get old for me.

Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette Review

This palette has 12 colours in ranging from bronzes, gold, purples, black and some nude/base shades. The colours are really pigmented and creamy, I like this palette and the shades are gorgeous! Most of them have a sort of sheen to them, not glitter or sparkle but has a beautiful glow, as if they are a baked shadow or something like that. They don't stain or anything so they are easily wiped off if you want to change the colours your using. The black is really pigmented so I would go careful with it as if you put to much on it may be hard to blend in. When I was trying this palette out I didn't use a primer before the shadow because I wanted to see whether it had a long staying power or not. I personally think it lasts a good amount of time, they don't move around or slide down your face as the time goes on.

I like the packaging, it's not heavy or bulky so it's easy to travel with, it fits the my travel make-up bag which is always a bonus so you don't have to take a few different ones. It has like a sleek metal feel to it.

I find that the colours are easily blended and complement each other really nicely. I do think most of the colours would look amazing on blue eyes! It would look lovely on brown aswell.. But bronzes and golds really make blue eyes pop.

Left to Right: Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, Blackout.

The colours I get the most use out of are probably YDK, Chopper and Suspect. These are beautiful pinky bronze colours and look amazing!

One downfall to this is palette I would say is that the shadows do have fall out so I would say you would have to do your foundation after the eyes. Which isn't a problem but I personally like doing my eyes after my foundation.

I decided to swatch a couple of colours to show you how pigmented they are. So from Left to Right: Half Baked, Suspect, Snakebite, YDK, Pistol and then Blackout.

Mini MUA Haul

I recently picked up a few things from the brand MUA - Make up Acadamy. This is a really cheep brand which can be picked up from Superdrug Uk, I love it! Some of the things from this brand are such good quality they should be way more expensive than they actually are.
So the first thing I picked up was one of there eye shadow palettes, I got the one in the black packaging named Undressed. These are apparently a copy of the Urban Decay Naked palettes so I was excited to see how similar they are. They have really pretty colours and have a few different palettes to choose from.

Then I got two of the individual Pearl shadows, one in the shade 29 which is the greeny gold shade and the shade 12 which is my favourite! It's a blue/brown shade. It's absolutely gorgeous!

Then I picked up a lipstick in the shade Bare which was only £1!! It's a really nice nude shade and is really creamy I am actually so impressed with it.

The next thing I got was a cream blush in the shade Blossom, I haven't had chance to use this yet but this was only £1 aswell! I hope it's good because I love cream blushers, they seem to look better on my skin.

And the last thing I got was the Pro Base Eye Primer which is a nice nude shade and you only need a little amount.

From left to right: Pearl shadow in the shade 12, Pearl shadow in 29 then the Lipstick in the shade Bare

Mini Beauty Haul

I have been buying a few things lately so I thought I would share them with you guys, i have been good  when it comes to purchasing things because i actually haven't bought that much. Plus some of these were things I did need..
So the first things I bought was the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. I have obviously been using this quite a lot since I got it because I wanted to see what it was like and whether it was for me or not. To be honest, I like it a lot but I don't love it. The colours are really pretty, good pay off and they last quite along time, one thing that really drives me crazy when I use it is the amount of fallout I get from it. There is so much shadow that drops down when I apply it that there is no way I can do my foundation first. Other than that I would think its a brilliant palette to buy.
Then I had to get some new skin products because I was running out of my others, so I got the L'OrĂ©al Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution and the Garnier Express 2 in 1 Eye Make-Up Remover. I hope i like these because I want to move away from the ones i always use and try new ones.
Then I ordered some things from E.L.F cosmetics, in the Uk we can only buy them from offline, I got a blush in the shade Peachy Keen, a lipstick in Party In The Buff.. Which I was really disappointed about because it was broke when it arrived! A Glossy Gloss in Funky Fuchsia and a Baked Blush but it doesn't have the name on it so I arnt sure what colour I got, I think it was St. Lucia. Lastly I got 2 of the  simple Eyeshadow brushes.
